Grasshopper Adventures

Grasshopper Adventures

Grasshopper Adventures runs trips for groups of just about any reasonable size on request--the biggest so far has been 67 people. For the scheduled tours on their site, they limit group sizes from 6-14 people, amongst the smallest group sizes in the industry. With a variety of Asian tours, Grasshopper Adventures charges reasonable prices but provide great bikes, quality accommodation and unbeatable value. They carefully craft every tour and most meals are included along with plenty of free time to explore the culinary delights of the region.

Did a bike tour in Japan and add on for Kyoto
The tour in Japan was great – subcontracted out to Norman white who runs tours. However, the hotels were switched and not what was represented. We stayed at poor accommodations for 2 nights rather than nice one they told us. Also, the Kyoto add in was a bust. Cancelled bike tour just hotel and one lousy dinner and suggestions what to do. They. Subcontract in Kyoto to Noru bike tours who said they provided grasshopper refund but we never saw it. Grasshopper also had some hidden foreign transactions fees. Wouldn’t recommend them unless they provide some refund and fix these issues.
